So you want to lose 10 kilos within 2 months. That’s not a bad weight loss goal actually. But the point is – will your body allow you to lose 10 kilos? Follow these 5 steps to lose weight safely, and keep it off for good.

Step 1 – Analyze Your Body

First, figure out your lean body weight. This is the weight of your bones and muscles. If you ever go below this weight, your body will suffer a lot of damage.

Lean Body Weight = Current Weight minus [Current Weight multiplied by Body Fat Percentage]

There are different ways to find out your body fat percentage. If you’re stuck, drop me a line.

Next, find your ideal weight based on your age and height. Subtract the lean body weight from ideal weight and that’s what your weight loss goal should be!

Step 2 – Set Goals

Now you have your weight loss goal. You also need to find out your basal metabolic rate (BMR) to understand how much calorie reduction your body can take.

Usually, a calorie reduction of 500 calories is enough for most adults. But it’s a wise thing to check out yours specifically.

Step 3 – Control Your Diet

Once you know how much less food you need to consume every day, you can design your diet accordingly. You can find calories of different foods online – just Google it.

And don’t forget to pay attention to include all nutrients in your every day meals. Cut out outside foods and of course, give up sodas for good.

Step 4 – Design A Workout Routine

Complement your diet plan with a killer workout routine. Try to work out for at least 30 minutes a day.

Choose from a variety of workout options like brisk walking, kickboxing, dancing, and more. Get your heart pumping, and don’t forget to stretch your body before and after your workout for at least 5 minutes each!

Step 5 – Stick To The Schedule

Now you have your diet plan and workout routine, so just get started! Stick to the routine, be strict on yourself. But keep one day of the week free to indulge yourself. Now I’m not saying you can eat whatever you want or sleep all day, but a slice of chocolate cake is your treat for following the routine all week. You get my gist, right?

    Low carb = low cal. That’s why it works. Plain and simple. When you revmoe one whole macronutrient from your plate, you reduce your calories by approx 1/3rd. Was nothing to do with food type. You can lose weight eating pasta, or rice, or yams. So long as you run a calorie deficit. I eat lean protein, carbs, fat. I just eat less and I exercise more. I lost 30 lbs in 4 months and kept it off 2 yrs now. Eat from smaller plates. Ur eyes see a full plate, but ur eating less. Go walking too
