Hot Lemon Water

Coriander Detox

Wash coriander leaves thoroughly and grind it with a small amount of water. You decide how thin or thick the drink is. Again, no salt, sugar, honey or any additives. Drink this first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. This can be done WEEKLY.

Turmeric Ginger Drink

Boil 2 cups of water with half teaspoon of turmeric powder (haldi) and dry ginger powder (or half inch ginger root). Then simmer till the drink becomes about 1 cup – around 10 minutes or so. Strain this hot mix, and drink it. If you’re not too enthusiastic about the taste, you can add juice from half a lemon for some tanginess. If you crave sweetness, add half a spoon of honey. This is a good body detox at home, especially if you have a cold and sore throat. This can be done WEEKLY.

Cucumber Lemon Water

Stuff cucumber and few strips of lemon zest (peel of lemon) into a blender and blend well. Add green apples, if you have some in the kitchen. No additives. This can be done DAILY. It’s a cool relaxing drink you can have simply to de-stress as well.
